Course Introduction

This Oracle training course takes the candidates beyond the scope of Workshop I. It gives a better and a deeper understanding of the duties of the DBA. It mainly deals with Backup and Recovery using almost all the tools at the disposal of the DBA.

Oracle Database 11g Administration Workshop II Release 2

The candidates learn to implement Performance evaluation and Tuning of the Oracle Database including some advisors. They also use various advisors, flashback technologies, and job scheduling for such purposes. Also they learn to control resource usage.

During the course the participants will learn the following:
