This course is fully accredited by PeopleCert and has both Foundation and Practitioner exams included.

The purpose of Foundation qualification is to know whether you have attained sufficient knowledge and understanding of MSP® to interact effectively with those who are involved in management. This acts as an informed member of the programme office, business change team or project delivery team working in MSP® supporting environment.

The purpose of Practitioner qualification is to know whether you have attained sufficient understanding of MSP® guidance to apply it to your work. Hence, acts as an informed member of programme management team who is responsible for managing, leading, supporting or advising on work within MSP® environment. Delegates would be capable of applying MSP® guidance in the relatively uncomplicated programme within an environment that uses MSP®.

Examination:

MSP® Foundation exam:

75 multiple choice questions
60 minutes duration
Closed book
50% is the passing percentage

MSP® Practitioner exam:

Eight questions, each of 10 marks and total of 80 marks
Objective type
2 and a half hour duration
50% is the passing percentage

After completing 4 days of classroom training and successfully passing your MSP® Foundation Exam, the fifth day of this course is a flexible exam preparation day to complete at your convenience in order to prepare you to take and pass your MSP® Practitioner exam online.

The course has no pre-requisite and is open for anyone who is interested in learning about Programme management. However, it will be beneficial if the delegates have some prior understanding of managing projects.

Delegates must bring a signed Photographic identification proof (driving license, student card, passport, etc.) to sit for the exam as it an examination requirement.
